U16s with a couple of U14s played Royston this morning! They started strong and continued being strong for the entire game! Even with it being a hot morning they kept up momentum and working hard! Lottie & Lilianna had their debut games into the Adult Saturday morning league and fitted in really well! There was some great movement, feeding into the shooters, and also the defence worked tirelessly to get the interceptions and loose balls! A brilliant win 65-42 🙌🏼 well done all of you! A special well done to OPOM Lottie 👏🏼 and CPOM was difficult as they all played so well! However Honey has received this today, for wanting the ball, giving 💯 throughout the entire game, some fantastic interceptions, lots of energy on court & listening to direction! Two very close games for the u12 oranges this weekend, sadly losing to Turnford and Wodson by a tiny margin. Both matches we started well and were in the lead at the end of the first quarter, but a poor second quarter in both games allowed the oppositions to get back into the match. We need to work on our mental strength and not only holding onto that lead in the second quarter but extending on it. Focused play in the third quarter of both matches meant that there was only one goal in it going into the final quarter but unfortunately we couldn’t turn it around. Defence were amazing both days, turning over balls and forcing errors but it was our hard working centre court players, that took player of the match each morning. What an absolutely brilliant win for the U13 Navy’s this morning in the GCNL against Tring Tornadoes! Despite a few players being unavailable and welcoming some debut players, every single one of them got stuck in, showed incredible spirit, and played some fantastic passages of netball. It was amazing to see the teamwork and determination on court today. Everyone gave it their all, and I couldn’t be prouder of how they came together as a team. A really special win for us! 💙🧡

ENG U14s Netball Cup Finals…9th June 2019

 

Hertford Hornets U14s team ended up in the 3rd/4th play-off against Woodley, even though they were unsuccessful they are still in the competition after they scored a goal tally of 40 goals which overtakes Grangetown NC who’s total of 37, making Hertford Hornets the best 4th place team with one event to go!!
